Art Deco side table with walnut veneer stained in rosewood and marble top Germany around 1925
I was able to acquire this extraordinary side table from a private person in Münsterland. The furniture was for the most part in original condition and were refurbished by us (photos in original condition we can send you if interested). The side table has a wonderful walnut veneer which was stained on rosewood which gives with the reddish tones a nice contrast to the beige marble and the black piano lacquer. The marble top has been sanded and re-polished. The entire furniture has a multi-layered structure of different varnishes and has a multi-layered final varnish of clear varnish which was elaborately sanded to grain 3000 and polished. A piece of history and craftsmanship to which we could return with much love and perfection to the old splendor of the 20s.
